From a large network of a variation of suppliers, we build up a broad product range consisting of over 8,000 different articles. Of these, approximately 50% are replaced annually to ensure that our customers find new and exciting products.

Martinsen has more than 50 years of experience with importation from the East. It all started with porcelain, glass and stoneware through the company Opal, which was based in Oslo. Opal was acquired by the current owner, Dag Leo Martinsen, in 1998. Dag Leo Martinsen began his import business in 1990 wiht the company Martinsen & Co. In the following decades, the business grew rapidly, and several new product groups within interior design and furniture were added to the range. Martinsen is part of the Dalema group, which also owns House of Yarn and Mr. Plant in Sweden. Martinsen and Mr. Plant share a showroom in Tidaholm, Sweden.
Martinsen is today a complete wholesale provider of furniture and interior design. Annual turnover is approximately NOK 300 million. Our head office with associated showroom of 3,000 sqm, is located at Jevnaker, about 50 minutes drive from Gardermoen / Oslo.
